A few nights ago, I was dozing/reading in bed; hubby was watching wrestling in the other room (on TV, not a family situation.) I put down my book to rearrange and plump up the pillows behind me and to see if the dog would scootch over a bit. Then I decided to go over my to-do list for the next day. Yes, I will start by writing a blog post.
Pondering various topics, I considered writing something about my go-to book biz apps, software or other things I like about the online world. I rummaged on the bed side table for my pen and hotel note pad. I began to note the favorites that I wanted to write about. In no time, I had compiled a long list.
I wonder if I have enough to go from A to Z? In ten minutes time, I did. Some of the letters have more than one entry. It made me realize how many amazing resources we have! I plan to spotlight many of my “winners” throughout the year.

April 20, 2017 at 10:10 amIn reading this list, I realize how little I know about, and use, technology available to us. But I’m OK with that.

May 12, 2017 at 7:59 amHmmm, at first I thought I’d be clueless, but I realize that I’m more techno than most of my friends. But of course, we writers/authors need to be. I’m shy, so a video thing or pod cast is not going to work for me. Instagram is my new love, I use Bitly and definitely Beta readers, spend hours commenting on blogs but don’t have the time for Canva, should spend MORE time on Goodreads, love Google of course, and not quite getting how Linked In can work for me (though I’m trying). Make all my reservations through Open Table, listening to Pandora right now, begging for reviews of my new children’s book, and boy, do I love connecting with Twitter and the Retweets. So, I guess I’m not doing to badly. 🙂 xo

May 12, 2017 at 10:13 amit grows on you- always something fun to try! And it does take time. Open Table opened my eyes to how tech can be so helpful and almost life changing. At first I thought, what…you just call the place for a reservation. But now- it seems indispensable- especially when out of town! Thanks Pamela and your new book looks gorgeous!
