You wrote an inspiring, captivating blog post. That was the fun part, letting your creative juices flow, right? But now you have to share it, on all your social media channels, for the next week, month…aagghh! Scheduling all those tweets and posts, what happened to that joyous feeling you had? And don’t forget the catchy taglines!
MissingLettr is a tool that aims to take the pain away from the monotonous social media posting that you have to do day in and out. Plus, it’s a great help for your promotions strategy. (What’s a promotions strategy you ask? Getting more readers is a good strategy!)
I am writing this post just because I want to tell you about this nifty site I’m not at all connected with Missinlettr and they don’t know I’m featuring them.
MissingLettr takes your posts and creates campaigns. I’ll let Jelena Mikic at MissingLettr explain more.
The term “campaign” is used to describe the main process that happens on the Missinglettr platform.
When you connect your blog page (or your RSS feed), Missinglettr detects all the blog posts available there. After that, you can pick which posts you want us to create campaigns for.
A campaign is a sequence of 9 social media posts we create for you based on your blog post’s content.
Those posts contain both text and images. The text is pulled out of your blog, and you can also include hashtags. The images are extracted from the blog, but you also have the option to create custom quote images.
The 9 posts are scheduled to be sent to your social accounts over the course of a year.
When you go to MissingLettr, you will see that it is an attractive and informative site, pretty easy to use. I was able to set up my account and launch my first campaign in 30 minutes. I chose the “free” version to start. I was able to schedule 4 posts a month, to one social media channel. If you blog once a week, that may be enough for you. I found that I liked the creativity of their posts that, I wanted to post on more channels and feature more of my content, so I upgraded to the next level, $15 per month
Here you can see the components of the campaign. Notice that 30 text suggestions are created!
Here is a sample post, based on my blog, created automatically!
I heard about MissingLettr from Rachel Thompson at BadRedHeadMedia. She’s not a tool, she’s a really neat and knowledgeable person, but she will give you super info about online tools. She is active on social media channels and has written several books for authors crammed with great tips. Her tag line is “helping you help your damn self since 2011.” My Mom might not have approved of her language, but I’ve grabbed lots of good tips from her books. And she is very responsive online. She has patently answered my questions!
I hope this info helped you! Please let me know if you have any questions. Do you have a marketing or writing tool that will fill my world with rainbows and kittens?
