Social Media friends are a wonderful source of fun, entertainment, and inspiration. One of my first blogger BFF’s was Beth Ann Chiles. You can find her on Facebook Twitter Pinterest, she’s probably on some other cools sites, too, but the best place to find her is on her blog, It’s Just Life
Beth Ann has a full life. She blogs Monday through Friday and I look forward to each post. Tuesday is Teapot Tuesday, and Wednesday is Wordless Wednesday, and the other three days are crammed full of Beth Ann’s active and exuberant activities.
She ranges from family and friends to food, travel, public gardens, then on to cats, bears and mayflies. One week she will treat you to tales of lighthouses, shops and decorations and the next week we will enjoy her thoughts on marriage, birthdays and positive living.
Beth Ann told me that she started the blog when she and her husband moved to Australia for a year. She thought it would be a good way to both record this memorable experience and help her stay in touch with friends and family. That was back in 2008 and she is still writing with flair. That’s a lot of wonderful life!
One of many amazing things that she does is that she features Comments for a Cause. Every month she carefully chooses a non-profit organization to support. She and her husband donate 50 cents for every comment on her blog to her organization of the month. Isn’t that great?! One of her favorite works to support is the Little Free Library organization. Beth Ann recently set up her own official Little Free Library near where she lives.
As you can see, Beth Ann is an amazing friend. I like another semi-regular post that she writes: she shares photos of her favorite things or recent photos on her phone. In honor of Beth, I thought I would do the same thing, but most of my photos seem to be screenshots of things I don’t want to forget. How about a photo of big cans of sausage gravy that I sent to my husband for fun. No?
So, I decided instead to share with you some of the most recent webpages that I have saved using Safari’s Reading List. Do you use this? I find it to be a great way to keep track of posts I want to read later and the list is available on all my devices. So Beth, here is what I have been saving to read. Some of the posts are for writing research, some are for fun!

I am a writer, blogger, book reviewer, and bon vivant and encourager. I have lived my entire life in Tropical Ohio. My goal is to make friends with everyone in the world. I wrote a fiction series, The Golden Age of Charli, that presents the problems and praises, and the love and laughter of family life and retirement. My passions are blogging, reading and reviewing, and writing. My life is a WIP.
