Hello Friends…we all know that special devil-may-care, on top-of-rhe-world feeling we get when we put on our favorite outfit. Well, I have that same wonderful feeling today! I have the pleasure of introducing you to one of my favorite people, who has also written one of my favorite books. Yes, there are lots of favorites – and you will find out why as you read explore all the exciting gems about Little Gray Dress. Plus there’s a Giveaway!
Emi Harrison has avoided her ex-fiance, Jack Cabot, for nearly two years. Her twin brother Evan’s wedding is about to end that streak.
From bad bridesmaid’s dresses, a hyperactive sister-in-law, a mean girl with even meaner secrets, and too much to drink, nothing seems to go right for Emi, except when she’s wearing her little gray dress.
When she speed-walks into Liam Jaxon’s bar, things get more complicated. He’s gorgeous, southern, and has no past with Emi. He may be exactly what she needs to prove for the last time that she doesn’t need or want Jack!
Her favorite little gray dress has made an appearance at nearly every major event in Emi’s adult life. Will it make another when she least expects it?

“We couldn’t have planned this out if we were writing a movie.”
Once upon a time, a sad young woman tried on a glass slipper, and it fit! Her handsome prince came and she lived happily ever after. But, that’s only in fairy tales, or the movies, right?
Sometimes we do get our own chance, our moment to experience that same thrill. Just like the glass slipper, we find the perfect outfit or perky little dress. When we slip it on our world lights up and we radiate beauty and confidence.
That’s how our sad young heroine Emi feels about her little gray dress. In her debut novel, Author Aimee Brown has given us Emi and her friends, and our new favorite book. Just like a special dress- when we slip into the delightful pages of this book, our hearts are hugged by hope, humor and joy.
There was always Jack and Emi…until there wasn’t. This engaging chick-lit story tells of the perfect love between Jack and Emi and then, just like the little, loose string that tempts you to pull it off your favorite dress, we learn how Jack and Emi unraveled.
Of course, their love didn’t unravel on its own. Emi had to contend with the evil acquaintance, the mean sister-in-law to-be, and the in-charge, rich ex-mother-in-law. There are also good girl friends, a sweet and sexy bartender, a supportive brother and of course, there’s Jack.
“People dancing, eating, laughing and here I stand with only half a heart left.”
Even though Emi struggles to right her world, she is a plucky, pretty, well-intended young woman and we root for her all the way. When her little gray dress makes an unexpected appearance, we are as ready for that surprise trip to Cancun as Emi was.
“All the leads I have today are taking me back towards Jack.”
Readers, you will be enthralled with the mix of love, lies and secrets. There are many flashbacks in this book, and some of you may like this format better than others, but trust me, it all comes together in a wonderful happily ever after. Go try on Little Gray Dress and experience the magic.

Aimee Brown – author bio:
Aimee Brown is a writer and an avid reader. Little Gray Dress is her first published novel. My second novel is in the works now. She’s currently studying for her Bachelor’s degree in English Writing. She spends much of her time writing, doing homework, raising three teenagers, binge watching shows on Netflix and obsessively cleaning and redecorating her house. She’s fluent in sarcasm and has been known to utter profanities like she’s competing for a medal.
Aimee grew up in Oregon but is now a transplant living in cold Montana with her husband of twenty years, three teenage children, and far too many pets.
She would love to hear your thoughts on Little Gray Dress! If you’d like to chat with her she’s very active on social media. You can find her at any of the networks below. Stop by and say hello!
