Queen of the Universe Book Tour
By author Geralyn Corcillo
Tour Dates: December 28th – January 4th, 2017
Blurb:
Savvy Hollywood writer Lola Scott is about to get fired from the TV show she created because she still hasn’t cast the role of the dark, brooding bounty hunter. But then HE walks in … Arlen Black. And he’s perfect for the part. But he’s not an actor there to audition. Nope. He’s the handyman Lola hired to renovate her historic Hollywood house. No problem—Lola gleefully offers him the dream job of a lifetime. But the stoic recluse-in-a-tool-belt wants nothing to do with Lola and her show. What?! Really?
So Lola goes after him with everything she’s got. But as she draws Arlen into her chaotic world of TV production, Hollywood gossip sinks its claws into him. And when one paparazzi photo threatens to destroy everything he holds dear, Lola’s got to move heaven and Earth not to save the show … but to save Arlen.
This novel reads as a stand-alone story within the In Love in the Limelight universe: Los Angeles, where the stars and paths of different characters might cross, and where the paparazzi is always ready to sink in its glittery talons.

Jena’s Review:
From Bestselling author Geralyn Corcillo, this stand-alone novel is the second romantic comedy in the In Love in the Limelight series. (Which means I now want to read the first book in the series!)
This is how the book ends:
Arlen can’t stop smiling. “You did all this, Lola,” he says to me. “You’ve got the whole family together, our whole universe. You really are The Queen.”
From this delicious quote, you would assume that this is a typical chick lit rom com, with a handsome cool dude, a feisty female and a happily ever after ending. You would be right- there is plenty of passion, wit, charm, engaging conversation, loveable characters…and there is so much more to enjoy in this entertaining book.
Lola Scott has an amazing career as a TV writer and showrunner. She has seen plenty of success…until…she needs to find the perfect smokin’ leading man for her new TV project. Cue…Arlen Black…the perfect man for the role…except he’s a handyman who has never acted and he doesn’t want to be in a show. It was so much fun to read about the ins and outs of Hollywood and its stars and TV world and Author Corcillo presents this dazzle very well.
Lola learns that to truly be the Queen of the Universe, she has to not only manage a TV show, but she has to deal with serious personal issues and family issues. I would say that some of these issues were jarring to read about.
Readers will bond with Lola and Arlen, and there are plenty of other supporting characters as well to make this fast-paced book sizzle. I am still chuckling about the scene where Lola has to get to her house- naked! I’m glad this book is part of a series!—Jena C. Henry
