Relax and read a good book.
Autumn has many special days for us to celebrate books. In September, we have Library Card Sign Up Month, National Read a Book Day and Banned Books Week.
October Brings Teen Read a Book Week, National Friends of Libraries Week and Picture Book Week. Of course, the holiday season is wonderful time to give and receive books. In the spring, we recognize World Book Day in March, and Read Across America which coincides with Dr. Seuss’ birthday. D.E.A.R. Drop Everything and Read is in the month of April. I love to drop everything and read! April is also National Library Week and National Bookmobile Day. Yay!
In the summer, we all relax in the sun with our books, right? Then comes September, which is Library Card Sign-Up Month, and also has days forNational Read a book day and A week for Banned Books.
Charli loves to read and review books. Below are some of the books that have delighted her. Jena C. Henry, that’s me, also reviews books for a site that celebrates writers and readers, Readers Review Room.
I am a writer, blogger, book reviewer, and bon vivant and encourager. I have lived my entire life in Tropical Ohio. My goal is to make friends with everyone in the world. I wrote a fiction series, The Golden Age of Charli, that presents the problems and praises, and the love and laughter of family life and retirement. My passions are blogging, reading and reviewing, and writing. My life is a WIP.
