Love Literary Style Book Tour
By author Karin Gillespie
Tour Date: November 1st-8th, 2016
Blurb:
Can an emotionally-stunted literary novelist and a vivacious romance writer find their happily-ever after? Even when she becomes more successful than he? Love Literary Style spoofs romantic comedy tropes, winks at literary pretensions and pokes fun at book publishing.
Like Legally Blonde only in the literary world.
Inspired by the author’s New York Times article “Masters in Chick Lit.” A sparkling romantic comedy for fans of the Rosie Project.

Book Review
The world has changed since the days of Hemingway and Fitzgerald.
From the gin rickey and classic martini to a Pink Lady with an umbrella.
From imposing publishing houses to Pitch Frenzies
From literary fiction to genre fiction.
But what has stayed the same- love…literary style!
Adjunct Professor and serious literary fiction author Aaron Mite meets Laurie Lee a cheerful, bouncy bluebird of southern happiness, at a Writer’s Camp. In a case of mistaken identity, they begin a romantic fling that transports them from the living room floor to the kitchen table, then a lounge chair and at last to the bedroom.
But Aaron is emotionally frozen, and insecure. Laurie Lee is a breath of fresh air in Hotlanta. Aaron studies Craft. (please read that with a low, serious voice.) Laurie Lee writes by thumbing through the Romance Writers Phrase Book.
Laurie Lee teaches Aaron that life really is like the tropes of a romance novel. He discovers that opposites do attract, and the goofy best friend sidekick can help even when there is a romantic false lead. Grand romantic gestures are vital, but better done without peanut butter. And after the silly misunderstanding come the HEA- the Happily Ever After
According to Aaron, Literary Fiction challenges readers to confront their lives. But, as Laurie Lee knows, with the Romance genre- It’s not necessarily the destination it’s the journey.
Love Literary Style is my new BBF- Best Book Friend. Author Gillespie will delight you with her deft, surgical humor, her word play and her insight and compassion. If you are a writer, you will see yourself on every page. If you love literary fiction, upmarket fiction, or genre fiction…this is the book for you. And if you adore sweet southern charmers and awkward young men …this romance will touch your heart. I loved the cover of this book, too!
I am issuing a challenge to author Gillespie- please rewrite this book as Literary Fiction! (readers, you’ll understand what I mean after you read the book.)
