The headings before each image are from my favorite Easter hymn “Christ the Lord is Risen Today”. Most of the stanzas were written by Charles Wesley and John Wesley in 1739. The hymn eventually became well known for its repetitive “Alleluia’s” sung after each line, which were added by an unknown author to fit the commonly used hymn tune of “Easter Day”. It remains a traditional processional hymn on Easter Sunday.
I am a writer, blogger, book reviewer, and bon vivant and encourager. I have lived my entire life in Tropical Ohio. My goal is to make friends with everyone in the world.
