Update, July 1, 2106 Let’s learn more about Kindle Free Preview
Jean M. Cogdell alerted us to the new Kindle Preview Link, see her post here.
I tried out the kindle free preview and loved it. With one click, you can share a great preview box that includes a book excerpt and a BUY button on social media.
For example, here is a screen shot of Jean’s book using Kindle Free Preview. If you saw this on Twitter, you could click on it, and read a free preview and then hit the BUY button!
I was messaging with author Tricia Pimental about Kindle Free Preview. We talked about how to use it. If you are on Amazon, go to the book page and click on the embed link and copy it. Then, you can use it!!
But wait, there’s more. If you are reading a book on your Kindle, you can hit the share button and share the free preview on Goodreads, Twitter and Facebook. Give it a try!!
Many thanks to Jean and Tricia- it’s encouraging to learn together.

Have you discovered Jean Cogdell’s secret? I found it a few weeks ago while I was clicking around on Amazon. We are talking about the free Kindle book preview widget. I’ll let Jean tell you more about it- but I think it’s really cool. Now you can read an excerpt from my book, with one click, no need for an app, and it’s FREE! Readers and authors- this is a Wow! Thanks, Jean for telling us and enjoy more interesting posts at Jean’s Writing.
